THE GOLDEN AGE OF THE POPULAR SONG
The Shakespeare Revue Company transports you back to the glamour and romance of the 1920s, 30s and 40s, with a cornucopia of classic songs from composers such as Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, Rodgers and Hart and Noël Coward.
This delightfully funny and nostalgic show also features a brace of gloriously tuneful wartime favourites including: ‘A Nightingale Sang in Berkeley Square’; ‘We’ll Meet Again’, ‘The White Cliffs of Dover’; 'We'll gather Lilacs' and of course Glenn Miller’s evocative ‘Moonlight Serenade’.
